History
Established in 1962, a group of citizens pursued to create a library to serve the community. A few years later, the library was able to hold a campaign to help relocated to a larger, more accessible location in the Penn Central Railroad Station building.
As the area grew, so did the collection of 7,000 books. In 2011, the library made its final move to the new Bridgeville Public Library off McMillen Street, which allowed them to keep expanding their collection to over 20,000 items. The new location also allowed them to develop programs for children, teens, and adults.
