The neighborhood of Spring Valley is located in the CDP, Hockessin, within New Castle County, Delaware. It is located at the north end of the county in the state’s northern tip. History
Early residents included a large Quaker population. The Hockessin Meeting House, built in 1738, was located off of Old Wilmington Road. Initially, the road was known as Ockession Road as early as 1808. Other historical landmarks within the greater area include
